 Biography/Accounts
He was a WAG with 426 Sqadron RCAF flying as crew on a Wellington X 3420 (information from RCAF 426 website 426sqdn.ca under Beegden -Heel and also information on the shooting of this plane under Tutton, who was also part of the crew and whose watch was found after the crash). There is a memorial to this plane at Beegden and Heel (border between the two villages) in the province of Limburg Holland in the south of the country about 20 miles from the German border. (8 km south west of Roermond). This was witnessed by a number of village boys
