This man is first cousins with my great grandfather and his only brother, who both served in the Great War, and obviously he is also the grandson of my great-great-great-grandfather. He was born on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. When enlisted, he had moved to Saskatchewan as a homesteader in the west, as his parents had been on Manitoulin Island.
