Default 11th LAA Regiment

My father was member of the 62 Battery 11th LAA Regiment in Colchester UK. This regiment was formed in About Mar. 1943, but was disbanded a year later.
I have found most War diaries for his units, but I have had no luck with this regiment.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the help. I was able to get the reel number (T-21373) from LAC. Can it be accessed directly from there, or do I need to go to the Heritage site. This reel # does not seem to show up on the list.
Thanks again for your help.

I think you will need to get a copy from the LAC.

Robert, you don't have to go to LAC. You can request, thru Heritage Canadiana to have the file digitized and put on their website.

I'll try and find the link that tells you how to do this. The only issue, is it could take a while

Look at Post number 34 and 35 on this link, it gives you information on how to go about requesting a Units war diary be digitized by Heritage Canadiana

http://www.canadaatwar.ca/forums/sho...?t=4257&page=4

Others from this forum have used this before, but my understanding it can take quite a while. If you need the information sooner, a visit to LAC to see the records, or hiring a private researcher to get the info for you.

LAC's website has a list of private researchers that you can use to do this.

Cheers
