Default re. Lieutenant Simeon Besen

Hello All:

I am very new to this site, having just discovered it today while "googling" for some information. In October (2017) my wife and I visited several war/military cemeteries in Holland and Belgium, while on a bike+boat trip. One of the sites was the cemetery at Bergen-op-Zoom, Holland. Perhaps because it was the first such cemetery of this type that we had ever visited the experience will be with us forever. While there I photographed the tombstone of Lieutenant S. I. Besen, Canadian Grenadier Guards, who died on October 23, 1944 at the age of 26. The inscription on his tombstone, short though it is, moved me to tears. I would so very much like to make a donation in his memory, and at the same time contact any relatives of the deceased with whom to share my thoughts. If anyone can suggest how I might go about determining if there are any living relatives and if so how I could contact them I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
