Default The Informal History of the Calgary Regiment

Hi all,

When I was at the CWM research centre last week (first visit) I went to the used book room and came across a volume in a binder which turned out to be a copy of "The Informal History of the Calgary Regiment" published by the 50/14 Veterans' Association in 1990.

Or possibly this is a reprint because the paper is still in great shape, not yellowed.

I was sort of wondering how common this is. It doesn't seem like this material is online and it really should be preserved. Some of the book is reprinted material - a booklet from just post-war, and an article from a 70s scale model magazine about Dieppe - but there are all kinds of veterans' accounts in it.

And disturbingly, now that I've searched for it on google, the Army Museum of Alberta apparently reported a copy of this stolen some years ago. :( I hope it's not my copy!
