Default World War One Living History Groups - Western Canada

Been searching and coming up blank on any WW1 living history groups in Western Canada. Particularly in Alberta. Is there any?

Seems like Eastern Canada and USA have them, particularly the big site in Pennsylvanian with their trench systems.

Is there an interest here? I have a location that can make a great reproduction of Vimy ridge trench system. Located about an 1 hr NE of Edmonton.

Above located in Calgary, SWW group but possibly you could build a new group with their help?? The biggest challenge is that you have to have a larger population base that may give you more people who are interested in that sort of thing........that's why most of the groups are down east and in the US.....another thought, contact US or Canadian groups and again enlist their help to form a "sub branch" in your area

And list of Canadian Re-enactment groups
